The works of Kim Swoo-geun

The American Embassy was my first stop.

Looking along the pavement, I think this might be an early step in restoring the mountain stream coming from Bukaksan (pictured over there).

A slightly controversial building of Kim's design: let's just call it DGBS. It's apparently where they used to torture suspected communist agents.

Construction work north of Itaewon.

Tower Hotel, now renovated as a luxury spa.

Freedom Center, where my coworker got married.

Kyungdong Presbyterian Church.

It really looks like a hand from this angle.

Next was a long trip to the Olympic Stadium.

And now, the Fine Arts Building at Seoul University.

A day later, I went up to visit Bulgwang Church.
