Hahoe Village
"I'm not going to be in the picture, am I?"
We went to Hahoe Village where the maskdance festival took place on the beach.
The fireworks performance began with lines made of charcoal connecting the village to Buyongdae.
Next, they started hurling things on fire from the top of the cliff. Reminds me of the sort of thing I used to do in high school.
Sandra wanted a picture that was more light realistic. It was hard seeing anything except when someone's flash went off.
The oblong shapes are flaming lanterns being launched into the sky.
Afterwards we were able to walk under the flames. Not quite as dangerous as it looks here.
