I hadn't realised at the time what an unpleasant pink the stage was.

Through sheer luck I was able to run into Ian, an online collaborator who's been on my friendslist for a few years but I've never met in person before. And his wife.

The backdrop of the stage was nice.

We got up close to the stage for Roy Hargrove. That's him on the right with the trumpet. We also hung out after with Quincy Phillips, the drummer.

It started to rain but the wine was okay.

Most people preferred rain ponchos.

How will we get past security to the backstage area?
