If a four-digit passcode is too much trouble to remember, just write it next to the lock.
This door was held closed with a chain lock. A very long chain lock that left enough room for a trespasser to squeeze through.

I decided before I try anything, I better familiarise myself with this sign first. It ended up being not that useful.
Down at the very bottom, it's just a pit, no connectivity to anywhere else at all.
