Gwanghwamun

Here's the area in front of the gate. I think this one will probably be the last to get filled in.

This is the area where you can peek in through the gate.

And this is up at the curve in the road. That guy was looking at me, and I couldn't quite hear what he was saying, probably warning me from driving in there or telling me not to stop on the edge of the road there. He didn't seem particularly worried that I took this picture showing them filling in one of the pits with dirt.

And this is the southernmost section over by the intersection. You can see they've already filled in part of this area with what looks like sand. Wouldn't a giant sandbox be great in Gwanghwamun?

Oh yeah, also Daehanmun at Deoksu Palace is being renovated it seems.
