Wedding Hall
This is a pretty high-profile abandonment, so they wouldn't just leave the side door open...would they?
I went in, got to the lobby, splashed my flashlight around too much, then saw a worker walk by out front, so I retreated. I took this picture while retreating.
I walked past the front gate and took this picture looking in.
On a later visit, I discovered that they were putting a chain lock around that front door. Yet that front door is behind the hoarding fence. And the parking garage entrance next to it is still gaping open. Not to mention multiple other openings I used. They locked pretty well the least important door.
Anyway I found anotehr way in for the love motel, with this sort of blurry view of three female roommates over a pile of flat-screen TVs.
Do so.
I feel like this is a sexual pun but not an expert one.
This room had massive ceiling damage, but also a robe hanging dutifully for the next guest.
A non-empty toilet bowl.
This is the front entrance to the motel.
And this is looking out toward the exit.
I went around front again and confirmed the one worker was gone, so I entered.
Here's a wedding hall.
This on a higher floor seems to be a buffet area.
Midway up, I got out onto a roof surface where I could see these classy designs.
Guys with dicks but with their legs severed above the knee.
I tried to photograph a lot of the stairwell murals. This one looks like a Muppet.
It's been a while since I got married, so I looked at that and was like "She's marrying two guys?"
Another runway.
There was a staircase leading up higher.
This was one of the top interior floors.
This wasn't quite the top roof level yet.
Another sort of buffet.
Here's a view from the roof.
Here's a view of the roof.
Looking west toward Jongmyo.
There's the top part of this building.
Another Bando.
There's the Christian Building that houses RAS Korea headquarters.
I entered the spire and found this classy entrance.
Last time I climbed up there, but not this time. To be honest, there's no real structural difference, but oh well. Last time I had the use of an elevator.
Heading back down.
Looking down at the front facade of the building.
Time for more stairwell art.
This is the two-storey section.
This one is the freakiest.
Back at that fake tree again.
This is out by the love motel entrance. It's probably about half my height.
The arrow is actually pointing the way out, not in.
Seen from the roof of the motel.
The motel lobby.
Another look at her.
And those three roommates.
Viewed from a nearby roof.
That empty lot has worried me for a while because I didn't explore anything there.
There's some sort of waste processing siet across the street.
This photo was taken from out the window on the top floor below the roof of a building not too far away. Wish I got higher.
