Market
This market ends unexpectedly right here.
I believe out here used to be under a canopy.
Looking back at the canopied part of the market.
This alley follows around the side of the closed area.
A fairly chunky cat.
I managed to slip through into the closed part.
From a roof, I could see another market section that was still canopied.
A closer look.
That is the canopy of the newer, still-active part.
And this is a random other direction.
I should go back and visit that one building with the courtyard.
Here's a place with the gate kicked in.
It still had a lot of furniture.
And clothes.
A wedding photo.
This appeared to be a yearbook but I can't read that language.
It's another picture from the same event.
The yellow ribbons reminded me of a Chinese character.
Traditional fire safety installation.
This overexposed photo shows what I think is a former market alley that was previously canopied.
Local poster.
There's a Hello Kitty or something hiding there.
Next I visited the canopied market section.
Here's a series of shaman spiritual pictures.
Inside the yeogwan.
I went further down the alley.
I got onto its roof.
Another picture of that same hallway.
I found this weird little passageway, so small I doubt a healthy adult could fit through.
I went around to the alley.
Here's the other side of that weird little doorway.
I wandered through a store area into the next alley.
This basement is flooded, and my picture isn't that good.
Back to the shaman place.
Next I wandered through the active market.
A lot of it was empty at this time of day.
Other parts had customers.
I wandered into one building. People were singing somewhere down the passage to the right.
Clothes were for sale. I started to figrue out what kind of people come here.
A dog meat restaurant.
A scooter drove through.
Now it's empty.
Now a couple.
This stall put up pictures accusing someone of stealing rice.
