South Post

I suppose this used to be a driving range.

The land beyond that fefnce I believe has been returned to Korea, though not much has been done there yet.

I saw the back of that sign and thought "Please don't say 'CAUTION: LAND MINES.'"

Standing in the structure.

Electrical site plan.

The ffence was tall enough that I couldn't peer over with my camera.

Heading out.

On a previous visit, JiHoon had pointed this historic site out to us. There are relics like this here and there all around the base.

The National Musem of Korea, itself built on returned land, looms in the background.

The Assignment of Choice

The fire station has a dalmatian mascot.

Kidde Fire Trainers -- I figured this was just "kiddie" misspelled, but I was wrong.

There was also a car for roasting.

Battle Simulation Center.

Former fast food places.

Closer view of the sign. Of course the Main Post Food Court is also gone.

Car wash.

So you can see the sign.

Riding around in the mountain, I got this view.

Similar but with more foreground.
