Not Abandoned Temple
Here is the temple as seen from a little uphill.
I saw this cat relaxing on the wall downhill of the temple.
Looks inviting.
The cat led me up the stairs, toward the only gate to the temple I could locate, seen here where the green fence with lotus lanterns is.
The cat decided to wait around here.
Steep stairs.
One of the lotus lanterns.
Peering through the fence.
Another alley with another cat.
Peering over the fence, I decided it was inconclusive but I was going to jump it and try anyway.
This is the temple name and some kind of registration number.
A furnace.
The Daeungjeon.
Inside the Daeungjeon.
We bowed three times.
The Baby Buddha you're supposed to bathe for his birthday.
I asked to take a picture when the woman on the left was holding the dog, so the woman on the right came over and grabbed the dog from her. Not sure what kind of dynamics I was witnessing.
I posed them so the temple could be seen in the background.
Time to go down. There's that cat again.
The cat got a meal from me.
Looking back up at the temple.
Another view from it from further away.
