Gangnam Apartment Remodeling
There was a linear park separating a modern new complex on the left and old buildings on the right, where you can see no lights on. Those twinkles in the upper floors are reflections of something else.
Here's the view around the other side of that building. Check out the size of those trees growing around the entrance.
This area was very dark at this point.
You can see a doorman's office to the left of the door. The ladder to the right is an increasing thing of speculation.
More tall skinny trees around the corner.
From here onward are phone photos.
Another empty building.
One building had lights on in the ground floor. I didn't get any closer to look, so it could be evictees, or it could be an office for the workers.
Some objects left out, possibly for scavengers.
The surrounding highrises of Gangnam were lighting up all this time, making my walk easier.
Here's one of the commercial buildings of the area.
A look at another one of the entrances.
I did climb this staircase. The stairwell it leads to doesn't really serve the building. It just leads to doors that were all locked, like emergency exits or something. I think if I kept going higher, I would have reached the roof.
I suddenly looked around and everything seemed much brighter. I believe it's because the lights turned on in the schoolyard next door at 6pm.
Another look at those trees.
Another commercial building facing the active street that's part of the remodeling plan.
