Songtan

I knew I wanted to read this later.

A very 2-tone ska train station.

A taxi dropped us off in front of the gate to Osan Air Base.

US military official badges I suppose.

A pirate in a barrel.

Sitting out front of Boogie House.

We admired some of the installation work across the street.

The people who run this ville.

He used to hang out here back in the 2000s, when he was in his 40s, and he would hang out with retirees in their 60s. So I guess this is a picture of me in 20 years.

This place looked closed.

A sex shop.

A large mural on a building I'm curious if is still in use.

We did some clothes shopping, and he bought a wolf shirt and a tactical ajeosshi vest.

We went to a pizza place and he ordered blueberry soju and a Monster mixer. It was apparently too sweet.

After a couple cars came through pretty close to us, someone went and pulled out those bollards.

So I'm curious why a Korean guy in a ville would decide to call himself "Mr. Potato."

He figured this image had been on here since he lived here.

Victory Blanket, two words that together sound very American.

Back at the front gate.

There was a DJ festival.

I'm assuming this was barf, but what I liked about this scene was that card next to it, which was a VIP card for something.

Blue hour.

He stopped to look at something in front of a thicket of bushes right in the middle of the ville.

We found a street stall selling binoculars.

Also assault knives, batons, brass knuckles, etc.

When's the last time you saw a DVD bootlegger?

We went up here thinking it was another place Chris had been familiar with -- it wasn't.

K-Darts was added to the K-Iceberg.

Back at Boogie House for one more before returning to Seoul.

I guess we did.

Fortunately there were plenty of taxis in front of the main gate, which you can see to the right, something I probably should not have photographed.

We took Line 1 all the way home, and good news! He's pregnant!
