Southeastern Seoul
An interesting building for rent I passed on my way out of Seochon.
Checking in on a familiar structure.
"Good Pig."
I came across this closed building that had a Chinese restaurant and a coin noraebang.
And on the other side there was a love motel.
This looked easy to overcome, except there were a lot of people, and it was just high enough that I would probably tear my pants. So I decided to return later.
Here's another structure I found that seemed to be covered in hired goon graffiti.
A single Japanese-looking restaurant remained open.
That appears to be a Darth Vader skull.
The back was less dramatic.
Crossing the river.
One of the few apartment buildings I respect.
Pretty sure this view didn't have such a massive backdrop last time I visited.
Something else I didn't spend much time looking at.
Some kind of weird sliver glass thing.
Nearby was an elevator.
And a subway vent.
There was a staircase leading down.
Last time I was here, it was a mud slope.
Here's the view under that glass thing.
And that's the way to the tracks.
Nearby I noticed some interesting types of housing.
It almost looks like a North American suburb.
Let's return to the soul-crushing stalin stacks of Seoul.
I'm working on a quiz that involves weird apartment names. Benecity might fit.
Took me a while, but that's a D.
There was this long narrow mound running through the whole area.
Here's a gate.
I wonder what was pasted here.
Around the side.
Cameras, but I'm not sure if they were only for when the place was active.
I decided not to test it.
Area map.
Side gate.
Around the outer wall.
Bak to the mound.
I stopped by here on the way home.
I noticed lights on in the upper right corner.
Whoops.
That's the two-storey-high penthouse.
