Stray Cat This morning when I left for work, I saw this stray cat sitting out front of our building in the sunshine. It looks like he'd been in a fight and gotten his eyes scratched up. I couldn't see his eyes but he could definitely tell I was there. I moved closer and he didn't run. I basically got close enough to get close-ups of his face with my camera zoomed in as much as possible. He still didn't run, so I went upstairs, got Jung, and brought down some cat food and a bit of water for him. He hissed and ran when I gave the water, so we left everything for him near his hiding spot. When we left he was guarding the food but hadn't started eating yet. I have a feeling he was only planning to eat once nobody was around. I have an even worse feeling this might be his last meal. |

Pumpkin Carving On Sunday night I decided this would be a good time to carve a pumpkin, so we went out and found a nice one at the local grocery store. We were hoping that Millie and Buster would be much more interested in it, but they only had a fleeting interest in the thing. They seemed more concerned with why we were sitting on the floor cutting it up. Neither of them found the scent of pumpkin too appealing so they didn't try to eat it. |

Sunset On Sunday I was sitting around playing video games all day when the sun began to glare off the building across from me and made it difficult for me to see. Rather than take revenge, I decided to go outside and see what all the fuss was about. It was a very clear day so the setting sun wasn't blocked by smog like last time. It was also too bright to directly photograph, so I mostly took pictures of sunlight on things. |

Cats Morning Here are just a couple pictures from Saturday morning. Nothing too special, but I missed a good shot of Buster kissing Millie on the bed. |

Millie and Buster in the Morning The light was good so I took some cat pictures before leaving for work. They always seem to be at their clingiest in the morning. Buster has trouble understanding why I'd want to play with him now, but a couple hours earlier when I was lying in bed with my eyes closed I didn't want to play. Millie just doesn't want to be left alone with this guy. |

Namguro I realised at one point that I probably wouldn't be going outside this weekend, so I decided to get dressed and go for a walk. I watched the sun set from a highrise apartment building and met some crazy Christians. |

Millie and Buster Jung was out on Saturday afternoon and she left me home alone with the cats. While Buster was sleeping, Millie started to get cuddly with him. She lied down next to him and gave him a bath, then fell asleep in his arms. I hope she remembers he's her brother; don't make the same mistake your mom did. |

Prince Buster On Saturday while I was using the computer, Buster had a nap next to me. I put the speakers around him and turned up the volume to see what kind of music he likes. Fortunately, he seemed to enjoy Prince Buster. |

Sick Day After Baekdu left, I decided the apartment could use some cleaning. I vacuumed the bedroom and mopped the kitchen. When I finished, I had a horrible cough that wouldn't let me sleep. On Thursday I took the morning off and got some medication. Also I took a lot of pictures because the cats were being extra friendly. |

Bye Baekdu Grant returned from China on time and stopped by on Tuesday to pick up Baekdu. Before he arrived, Baekdu and Millie had a vicious fight. Buster eventually stepped in to protect his older sister. After Baekdu was gone, Millie and Buster fought. Buster still meows a lot, wondering where Baekdu is, but Millie has been much happier since he left. Last night we killed two mosquitos filled with blood together. |

Exploring We went over to the building behind our apartment again. This time we brought a laser pointer which didn't work at all and I went down and placed my phone on the window sill so we could lure the cats to the window by phoning it. I think it would work better at night. Maybe we'll try again soon. |

Cat Chuseok I developed a cold on Wednesday night and it basically lasted until Monday morning. It was a great excuse to stay in bed for four days straight. Buster and Baekdu had a good holiday, but Millie was busy for all of Chuseok preparing food. She doesn't like this holiday. |

Buster vs Baekdu Tuesday was a Korean holiday so I stayed home with all the cats. Buster and Baekdu have become very friendly. All of the cats will now at random times approach each other during naptime and start giving a bath. Buster will sometimes lick my face. |
