New Camera I decided to buy a new camera. The new one is a Nikon D40, which is very different than my old cameras. It doesn't have the same swivel design so I have to look directly into it. So far I haven't fully gotten the hang of it but I'm getting there. Since I have to rely on the viewfinder it's much more difficult to frame pictures properly. Luckily the resolution is high so I can afford to leave more space around the pictures and crop them later. |

Cats These are just some miscellaneous pictures from a few days. Lately we've had to store all shoes with laces in this shoe cupboard so the cats won't eat the laces. When I open it up in the morning, they've started hopping inside. It's good because it stops them from running out the door when I leave. |

Guryongsan I was supposed to climb Guryongsan with my coworkers, but two of them backed out. So two of us went up alone and walked around. |

Buster's Turn Millie's nose is back to normal, and everyone's best guess is she put her nose in something and was trying to keep it wetter for a couple days to clean it off. I don't know how the thing works. Anyway, it's Buster's turn to have a picture of himself on here. I took this on White Day, which turned out not to be a big deal. This year it seems like everyone here is very unenthusiastic about holidays. At my office I found out I was the only one doing anything special. |

Why is Millie's Nose Wet? Last night I noticed Millie had a wet nose. I wasn't sure why. It lasted for several hours so it wasn't the water dish. She didn't seem sick and she was very active. As far as I know cats should have wet noses, but this time her nose was darker. Today I hear the wet part is even darker. What's wrong with our cat? |

Frog and Chicken My camera really let me down for the action sequences in these photos. Jung got a bunch of new things for our home including these laundry hampers which the cats enjoy. Watch Millie get eaten by a frog and regurgitated. |

Millie and Buster Here are some pictures I took one night of the cats goofing around. Millie always finds a box or a bag she can hide in, and Buster attacks. It's not a very good strategy. |

Dorian and Bryn's Place I went over to Dorian and Bryn's new place near Achasan to see what it was like. It's a pretty nice place. Oronzo came over and we had a bit to drink. |

Millie and Buster It's been a long time since I took cat pictures, so I took a lot on Sunday. I decided it wasn't worth hiding all those cat toys, so I unveiled the laser pointer, which Millie used to play with a lot when she was young. Now Buster enjoys it a lot more. |

Fixed Finally I fixed my camera. This is the old one, the Coolpix 950. All that was damaged was the defective battery door so it was easy and cheap to fix. I had to do some shopping to prepare for White Day, so I wandered around downtown between Yongsan and Chungmuro. The camera still isn't 100% functional, but I can take pictures with it most of the time. |
