Namguro On Sunday I felt like I needed to do something, so I rode an elevator up one of the buildings nearby. I retraced my steps from a few months ago so I could try retaking some of the pictures I got last time. It worked pretty well. |

Bryn's Birthday It was Bryn's birthday on Saturday, so despite feeling a bit sick I headed across town to visit her at her apartment. Dorian is leaving soon so I need to cram in some more time with them before he goes. The party was a potluck and I brought a lot of food I didn't feel like eating. It ended a little abruptly when Verv wanted to leave. I had to DJ at Skunk that night, too. |

Anne-Marie's Kittens Anne-Marie was back in Canada for a few months, during which time her cats Boo and Hoochoo Ganhosa (Nurse Pepper) stayed with Grant and his cat Baekdu. Well when she picked up her cats, she found out her younger one was pregnant. Hoochoo Ganhosa gave birth to six kittens a couple weeks ago. They're mostly grey and black tabbies, with one calico and one white one who could be albino. I stopped by to get pictures of them. Veranda You can probably notice in a lot of my pictures, the cats are squinting. My camera's focus system has a lamp that illuminates the subject so it can focus better, which always alerts the cats that the flash is coming. |

Three-Year Anniversary Exactly three years ago I met Jung in Suwon Station and we had dinner for the first time. Actually we first met on the 17th but we always celebrate on the 18th. |

Window Whenever the window is open, Millie and Buster enjoy sitting up there and looking for birds. There's a magpie that's been landing right outside the window lately and giving them quite a thrill, but I've never gotten my camera there in time. |

Campbells Soup Millie and Buster enjoy Campbell's Soup. I bought some split pea with ham soup a few months ago and it drove them crazy. This garlic chicken soup had the same effect. I couldn't get it away from them. |

Friday the Thirteenth I forgot the significance of Friday the 13th and only ended up taking two good pictures the whole day. |

Brendan's Barbecue The weather has been good lately barring any yellow dust problems, so Brendan hosed off his roof and fired up the barbecue. Samia's coming back soon so hopefully we'll have another one when she arrives. Also, I let Brendan's daughter Zoe try out my new camera. She took a few pictures and some of them turned out pretty nice. |

Verv's Visit When Verv first moved to Korea, he came over to visit a few times. It's a long trip for him and after he started coming down on Friday night instead of Saturday it became less convenient. We had dinner and then got wasted back at my place watching TV. I introduced Verv to Kenny vs Spenny and we saw Iron Chef. |

Catnip and Newspaper Millie and Buster tear into some catnip and read the newspaper. I remember when I was young my cat used to sit with me whenever I read the newspaper. Millie and Buster seem to like it as well. |

Around Yangjae I just took some pictures of the area around my office. My new camera isn't great for candid photography as it's harder to aim. I've been learning how to rely on the viewfinder a lot more lately. |

Coworker's Birthday I felt guilty for skipping Friday, which was the day before my coworker's birthday, so I decided to go out with them on Monday night instead. It turned out they were all planning on a long night. |
