Buster
Sometimes Buster makes a lot of noise at night. He's found a way to get the maximum amount of noise out of a plain cardboard box possible.

Catnip Time
Jung ordered a box of cat food that came with catnip. It had been a long time since the cats' last trip so we gave them a bunch. Buster went pretty crazy but Millie tried to be polite.

Work Dinner
Here's a picture we had the waiter take when I went out for supper and a few drinks with my coworkers. We hired a new computer guy but right now I'm the only one working here who deals with actual content.

Stray Cats
The temperatures are dropping, and we're continuing to feed the stray cat living on the roof. Another cat comes by from time to time, and it seems like they get along well enough. Some of the pipes such as the one in this picture seem to blow out hot air so it keeps them warm. We also gave them a box with some torn up pieces of clothes but I don't think they use it for shelter.

Cats
Saturday was a day of rest and orange helmets. I've heard that cats hate mandarin oranges, but Millie and Buster didn't seem to mind at all.

Funeral
Since I had already asked my boss for the day off and I was too sick to go to the funeral, I spent the day in bed sleeping. I didn't wake up until about 4pm. The cats were lonely and spent the whole day waiting for Jung.

Funeral
On the second day of the wake I was feeling very sick with a high fever and a bad cough. I spent most of my time in the back room, which was useful because we spent most of the evening counting money. I had to stop after I started making mistakes that became more and more bizarre.
Unfortunately on Thursday I couldn't go with everyone to the burial down south but it sounds like I'll be going to the grave site in December.

Funeral
Last weekend we were told Jung's grandmother's condition was deteriorating, and we should prepare for her death. She died on Tuesday morning.
Korean funeral customs are fairly complex. For two days there is a wake held where everyone comes to pay their respects to the deceased and surviving relatives. It used to be held at home but now hospitals have facilities for this. These places close at midnight so mourners can't stay and drink all night, like they used to. I thought at first that this ritual would be too much of a burden on the family, but someone explained that they are too busy to feel sad.
The funeral itself is held on Thursday, and we're chartering a bus to go down to her hometown for the burial. I'm told by my boss the trip takes four hours one way.

Strays
Now that I've photographed both these cats more than once, according to my rules it is my right now to name them. However, I'm having trouble coming up with names right now. I'll get back to you.

Brunch
Since both Jung's parents and I have our birthdays all within about two weeks, we had one party for all three of us. We went out to a restaurant in Gangnam that serves pumpkins stuffed with duck.

In Bed
On Saturday none of us got out of bed before sunset.
