Geumho Mountain

Just a couple pictures from the top of Geumho Mountain.

Fighting and Bathing

The cats that fight together bathe together.

Moose

My mom sent me another moose in the mail, so I took a picture of this one riding around on Buster. Also, there are a couple of pictures from the snow we had in the morning. Of course once again it's all melted.

Wangsimni

I'd never been to Wangsimni before so I took my scooter over there and looked around a bit. As you can see it's a pretty dense area.

Geumho Mountain

This weekend I went up the mountain behind my apartment and looked around up there. There are a lot of interesting things to see, but I went too high and made it to the front gate of some kind of military base. A soldier started to walk toward me, so I turned my scooter around, and he waved bye to me. I also tried out the miniature city effect a little more.

Knockoffs

There are two knockoff products in this gallery. I saw this "Edison Cube" in Kyobo Bookstore today. My boss remarked that it looked easy, so I bought it to show him. It was worth the 5000 won to watch him give up within five seconds.

The name "Edison Cube" really annoys me. What's wrong with calling it a Rubik's Cube? Ironically Edison was well known for stealing credit for the inventions of his employees.

Downtown

My Sunday travels brought me downtown, where I saw a lot of things that weren't abandoned and run down. Also, I bought a late Christmas gift for Jung.

Miniature City

On Sunday I went to this cool museum, where they have a miniature model of a Korean city. I took some pictures that make it look like I'm a monster towering over Seoul.

Brother-in-Law

On Saturday we went to Jung's parents' place for lunch with her family. Her brother and his wife are returning to the US soon for the next semester at university. Unfortunately I didn't get any more pictures of them. When I saw him, I told him "Last time I saw you you were pretty hung over." He answered, "I still am."

Tripod

Late at night on Friday, Buster and I were feeling bored so we borrowed Jung's tripod and ventured into the washroom. We took a few pictures before Jung woke up and yelled at us to be quiet.

Snow

We had our first real snowfall of the year on Friday. It started strong in the morning, then stopped around lunch until almost all the snow was melted, and then started up again later in the afternoon. Of course most of it was melted by the end of Saturday, but it was still nice for a short time.

Mouse

Millie wants you to look at her new pet mouse. See it.

Bug

I was on the bed with Millie when I noticed a strange beetle climbing the wall by the headboard. Millie saw it too and snouted it down under the bed. I set up a light so she could see better, and she moved in for the kill. Not sure if she got it, but I never saw it again.

Pants

After I got back from the university, the cats started sniffing my pants. I changed out of my pants and the cats still kept sniffing the pants. I don't know what was on them, but they seemed pretty clean to me.
